We went for an amazing hike up to Val de Nuria in the Spanish Pyrenees. Val de Nuria is a ski resort in the winter but the only ways to get there are via a special train that can make the 1000m (3280 ft) climb or to hike. The rock formations and gorges were a sight worth seeing and we managed the hike in under 3 hours. It started to rain half way up but we soldiered on in steep and rugged terrain.
